Biography

As a Junior in 2016
  • Started all 12 games for the Hounds
  • Tied up blockers and made a tackle against LSC Champion Texas A&M-Commerce

As a Redshirt-Sophomore in the 2015 Season
Lane Cummings appeared in six games for ENMU which included a win over Angelo State and Eastern's bowl-game appearance against Arkansas Tech. He continued to develop as part of one of the top run-blocking lines in the nation.

As a Redshirt-Freshman in the 2014 Season
Cummings appeared in seven games for ENMU and was part of an offensive line that blocked for one of the top running games in the nation and Lone Star Conference.

As a Freshman in the 2013 Season
Cummings did not appear in a contest for the Hounds

Before ENMU
Prior to enrollment at Eastern New Mexico University, Cummmings played for Head Coach Jim Miller at Las Cruces High School and earned first team all-state and first team all-district honors. He was a New Mexico All-Star and also played rugby at LCHS.

Academic
Cummings is majoring in history at ENMU with a minor in criminal justice.
