Biography

2014: Made 12 appearances out of the bullpen... Finished with a 0-0 record, 4.91 ERA, 13 strikeouts and 15 walks in 22 innings... Allowed a hit in an inning of work in collegiate debut against New Mexico Highlands (2/16)... Pitched a perfect 1.1 innings with a strikeout at the University of the Southwest (2/23)... Threw a hitless inning and struck out one during series opener at Tarleton State (2/28)... Surrendered a run on a hit with two strikeouts and walks while pitching a season-high four innings in series finale versus the Texans (3/1)... Threw four innings for the second straight appearance as he struck out a season-best three against West Texas A&M (3/9)... Gave up two runs on three hits and two walks in two innings against Texas A&M-Kingsville (3/14)... Struck out one and gave up two runs and four hits in three innings at Cameron (3/22)... Allowed a season-high six runs, none of them earned, as he did not record an out versus the Aggies (3/23).  Had a strikeout in 2.2 innings of work at Angelo State (3/29)... Threw a perfect inning of relief and struck out two against Lubbock Christian (4/8)... Threw one inning with a strikeout at West Texas A&M (4/11)... High School: Lettered two years in baseball for head coach Gil Padilla at Las Cruces High School... Was a pitcher and shortstop... Two time first team all-district selection... Named to the All-New Mexico Second Team as a pitcher twice... Named Greatest Bulldog his senior year... Three time academic letterman... Also lettered three years in football as quarterback and punter... As a quarterback he was anmed first team all-district and all-state... Named all-district offensive player of the year... Led team to 2012 New Mexico 5A State Title... Named Las Cruces Sun-News Athlete of the Year.
