Biography
Career
Cristina Escobedo has been a member of the program since the 2012 season and has made 13 appearances in goal.
As a Junior in the 2015 Season
Escobedo made a career-high 12 appearances in goal as a junior with 10 starts. She posted a 3-0 victory over Texas-Permian Basin in mid-October to register her first shutout win. Escobedo's 1.54 goals-against average was the best on the team, and she made a career-high six saves in a 2-1 setback at Texas Woman's University.
As a Sophomore in the 2014 Season
Escobedo made her ENMU debut on September 13, at New Mexico Highlands.
Before ENMU
Prior to enrollment at Eastern, Escobedo was a multi-sport athlete at Americas High School in El Paso, Texas. She lettered in both soccer and softball. Escobedo was a member of the National Honor Society, Business Professionals of America, and marching band.
Academic
Escobedo is majoring in communication disorders at ENMU with a minor in Spanish.
