AS A JUNIOR
Participated in five meets in her 2018 campaign ... Set a career-best 6k time of 24:38.03 and placed 11th and the Lone Star Conference Preview on Oct. 20 ... Turned in a season-best 5k finish with a 20:29.4 at the Arkansas Chile Pepper Festival on Sept 22.

AS A SOPHOMORE
Competed in six total events on the year... Highest finished came at the WT Buffalo Stampede in which she finished in 17th place with a time of 30:05.11... Recorded three top-25 finishes throughout the season... Helped the team advance to the DII South Central Championships in which she placed 143rd with a time of 25:16.73.

AS A FRESHMAN
Ran in all six events as a true freshman... Had a career-best eighth finish at the WT Buffalo Stampede with a time of 24:32.0... Placed 106th at the DII South Central Regional Championships with a time of 25:37.

HIGH SCHOOL
A two-time All-State selection in cross country in 2013 and 2014... Finished 10th at the New Mexico High School State Cross Country Championships... Named the Female Athlete of the Year for her high school... Placed second in the state meet in the 800 meter race with a time of 2:14.76 and third in the 400 meter... Led her cross country team to back-to-back third place finishes at the state championships in 2013 and 2014. 

PERSONAL
Daughter of Ernesto and Barbara Quinones... Majoring in forensic biology with a minor in statistics and bioinformatics... Plans on working for the FBI upon graduation... Enjoys roller blading, cooking/baking, and watching T.V. and movies in her free time.
