Saw action in nine games during the 2018 season ... Finished third on the team with 69 tackles, had three tackles for loss, an interception and five pass breakups ... Three games with 10 or more tackles ... Recorded a career-high 12 tackles against Texas A&M-Kingsville, earning LSC Defensive Player of the Week ... Came away with 11 tackles and a forced fumble against MSU Texas ... Picked off second pass of his career in the season opener against Missouri S&T.
AS A FRESHMAN
Played in 10 games and made two starts in his 2017 campaign ... Was third on the team with 46 tackles, four pass breakups and an interception ... Recorded his first career interception and returned it 36 yards in a 51-34 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville.
HIGH SCHOOLÂ
At Deming High School he played football, cheer, baseball and golf... For football, he was named Defensive Player of the Year 6A (2016), 1st Team All-State (DB), 1st Team All-District (RB)... Receiving Honor Roll in 2017 he also won New Mexico All-Star Football Game and New Mexico All-Star Baseball Game.Â
