For her career, Brooklyn Biel has 334 kills and 140 total blocks in 50 matches.
As a Sophomore in the 2015 Season
Brooklyn Biel emerged as as a star performer and had a monstrous sophomore campaign for ENMU. She was second on the team with 272 kills, She averaged 2.18 kills per set and led the team in front of the net with 20 solo blocks and 109 total blocks. Offensively, Biel took center stage against out-of-state rival West Texas A&M, and helped the Greyhounds defeat the Lady Buffs for the first time in over a decade. Biel had a career high 15 kills on that fateful night of Oct. 6. Defensively, Biel is tied for eighth place in the record books for most solo blocks in a single match with three against Tarleton State (Oct. 30) and is tied for third in single match block assists with nine against UC-Colorado Springs (Sept. 12).
As a Freshman in the 2014 Season
Biel Started five matches and appeared in 56 sets on the season. the true freshman recorded 62 kills and three assists. Her sole double digit game came against Dallas Baptist (Oct. 25) where she recorded 10 kills. Twice she recorded nine kills, once against Texas A&M-Kingsville (Oct. 17) and against Cameron University (Oct. 21).
Before ENMU
Prior to enrollment at ENMU, Biel lettered at Betty H. Fairfax High School for head coach Traci Gallegos. She also was a member of the basketball and track & field teams. For her efforts in the classroom, Biel was named to the Dean's List and Honor Roll.
Academic
Biel is majoring in communications.
