AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE
Appeared in 11 games throughout the 2019 season... Totaled 21 tackles... Recovered a fumble against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Sept. 28... Finished the season with 2.0 tackles for a loss... Blocked a kick against West Texas A&M on Oct. 26. 

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN
Appeared in nine games during the 2018 season ... Made 12 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss ... Totaled a season-high two tackles three times, including recording a half-sack against Colorado Mesa.

HIGH SCHOOL 
At Estacado High School his sophomore year he was named District 2/3A Newcomer of the Year, junior year he was First Team All District, and senior year he was named Preseason Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All District, Honorable Mention All State... During his career, his team triumphed in being District Champions and Area Champions.  

PERSONAL 
Son of LaTresha Cooper and Victor Hatchett... Majoring in University Studies... Enjoys being with family but also enjoys being alone... When asked about plans after college he said, " I'm still trying to figure that out but I feel strongly that God has a plan for me. I'm going to just work hard for the time being and the rest will take care of itself."
