AS A JUNIOR
Participated in five meets during the 2022 indoor season... At the Dr. MLK Jr. Collegiate Invitational Meet Hayde recorded a personal best with a time of 8.02 in the 60-meter (1/22) ... Set an indoor program record in the triple jump, with a leap of 11.60m (38' 0.75") at the New Mexico Team Open (1/29) ... Competed in the LSC Indoor Championship, taking part in the Long Jump (5th, 5.49m (18' 0.25")) and the Triple Jump (6th, 11.42m (37' 5.75")) (2/26) ... During the 2022 outdoor season Hayde competed in five meets including the Lone Star Conference Championship ... At the 2022 Ross Black Track and Field Open, Hayde hit a personal best in the shot put (10.41m) (4/22) ... At the Lone Star Conference Championship Hayde placed 5th with a personal best in triple jump (12.01m), setting an outdoor program record (5/5).
PRIOR TO ENMU (BARTON COUNTY J.C.)
Hayde comes to Portales after a decorated stint at Barton County Junior College. The Tortola, British Virgin Islands native was crowned the 2020 NJCAA Indoor National Champion in the pentathlon, and earned All-American honors in the long jump. Hayde hit personal bests while at Barton in the long jump (19'-0.5"), 100-meter hurdles (15.26), 60-meter hurdles (9.05), javelin (123'-1"), and high jump (5'-3.25").
