AS A SOPHOMORE
Played in all 11 games for the Hounds in 2022 ... fifth on the team with 39 tackles ... two tackles for loss ... credited with four quarterback hurries ... season-high ten tackles in a win over in-state rival New Mexico Highlands (9/1) ... assisted on a sack in a home victory versus Simon Fraser (10/15) ... finished with a tackle for loss against No. 3 Angelo State (10/8) 

AS A FRESHMAN 
Appeared in five games... Recorded three tackles (one solo, two assist). 

HIGH SCHOOL 
Played for coach Shane Fidler at Ashley Ridge High School... Earned All-Region honors as a junior... Finished his high school career with 87 tackles... Also ran track and was a state qualifier in the 4x100. 

PERSONAL 
Studying Sports and Recreation Management... Father, Darell Whitaker, played football at ENMU... Enjoys video games, basketball, nature, and geography... Hopes to become a trainer and run his own training facility after graduation.
