Was a two-time all-district selection for head coach Jared Howell, playing tailback at Piedra Vista High School in Farmington N.M. ... Was the district runner-up in the long jump for the track team in 2006 and the champion in 2007 ... Place sixth in the event in the state meet in 2007 and won the state title in the medley relay that year ... Member if the National Honor society and was number 16 in his class.
