Located inside one of the finest basketball facilities in the Southwest, Greyhound Arena is also home to the ENMU men’s basketball locker room. The men’s locker room is one of the biggest locker rooms in the Lone Star Conference. In December of 2017, the locker room underwent a massive renovation to be one of the finest in all of Division II athletics and now challenges some Division I facilities. Because of the generosity of Greyhound Nation, which included local businesses, private donations and the Greyhound Club, over $40,000 was raised for renovations. Renovations included: new flooring, lighting, paint, upscale lockers, flat screen TV’s, furniture, and the creation of a player’s lounge.

“The locker room and Player’s Lounge at ENMU is modeled after the highest level Division I locker rooms in the nation. My goal in the remodeling and rebuilding of our Locker Room and Player’s Lounge was to provide my student-athletes with a place to call home that mirrors our level of commitment to winning and success. The Portales and ENMU community rallied together to support our vision, and the final product speaks for itself as a first-class facility to rival even Division I competitors.”
