STEVE LOY FAMILY FOUNDATION STADIUM POLICIES FOR ENMU FOOTBALL GAMES
ACCESSING YOUR SEAT
Fans are encouraged to enter the stadium on the side of their game tickets will allow for seating or the side they intend to sit. Reserved seats patrons should enter on the west side of the stadium. General admission and standing room only ticket holders may enter from either side.
Each individual is encouraged to hold their own ticket to assist in expediting the scanning process. Game tickets will be electronically scanned by gate attendants. Excessive movement on the part of spectators during the game is a common complaint to our game-day event staff. As a courtesy to other patrons, please remain in your seats until the play has ended.
ADA ASSISTANCE
It is important to offer help and assistance to individuals with mobility issues. Be knowledgeable on seating and access, for these individuals.
ADMISSIONS
All persons, over the age of 12, must have a ticket for admission into Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.
Ticket holders are restricted to sitting in the location that appears on their ticket and agree to abide by facility and University policies, as well as State and Federal laws. ENMU reserves the right to revoke tickets. All persons entering the stadium are subject to search.
ALCOHOL
Intoxicated or alcohol impaired individuals may be denied admission into the stadium or subsequently required to leave upon request. Violators are subject to applicable legal action. Such ejections or denial of admission are not grounds for refunds.
ANIMALS
Service animals (dogs) for guests with disabilities are permitted. All other animals are prohibited. All service animals (dogs) must always remain under the control of the handler.
ATM MACHINE
There are no ATM machines located inside of Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.
BABY CHANGING STATIONS
Baby changing stations are available in all family restrooms on the west side concourse of the Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.
BABY STROLLERS/CARRIERS
Baby strollers/carriers are not allowed in Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.
BACKPACKS
Backpacks are not allowed in Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.
CLEAR BAG POLICY
Eastern New Mexico University will implement a clear and restricted bag policy at ENMU football games this fall, beginning September 5, 2026. Patrons will be limited to one clear bag measuring no more than 14 inches tall, 14 inches long, and 6 inches wide. The bag must be carried personally.
In addition, each patron may carry one small clutch bag that does not have to be clear. The clutch bag may not exceed 5.5 inches tall, 8.5 inches long, and 1.75 inches wide.
The only exceptions are medical bags and baby bags. Medical bags may be permitted when they are required for documented health-related needs. Parents or guardians attending with infants may bring one small baby or a diaper bag. A baby bag may not exceed 8 inches tall, 13 inches long, and 4 inches wide.
Please be aware that all bags are subject to screening when entering and while inside any facility or event operating under the clear and restricted bag policy.
BANNERS, FLAGS OR SIGNS
Banners, signs or flags from outside individuals or groups are not permitted inside Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium. Use of banners, signs and flags is limited to athletics department sponsors and recognized sponsored spirit groups.
CAMERAS/VIDEO CAMERAS
Cameras (no camera cases) are permitted for personal use as long as their use does not create a disturbance or obstructs the view of other fans. Any commercial photography is prohibited. Video cameras, tripods, monopods and cameras with lens longer than 6 inches (detachable or non-detachable) are prohibited inside Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.
CHAIR BACKS & SEAT CUSHIONS
Chair backs are permitted to be brought into the stadium. Seat cushions are permitted as long as they are 16” wide or smaller. No back or metal frame is permitted.
CONCESSIONS
Concession stands will open at the same time patrons are allowed to enter the stadium (90 minutes prior to kick-off).
CONCESSIONS/MERCHANDISE (INSIDE/OUTSIDE STADIUM FENCE)
Companies are prohibited from issuing free or sample products without being properly licensed by ENMU and ENMU Athletics. Solicitations, sales or other commercial activities, including the sale and distribution of unauthorized food, is not allowed in stadium parking lots on gameday except as approved by ENMU Athletics.
CONDUCT
The NCAA, Lone Star Conference and Eastern New Mexico University promote good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and fans. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Fans are reminded they are prohibited from entering the playing field before, during and after the playing contest. Negative comments directed at student-athletes, coaches, game officials, team representatives, or other fans are subject to ejection. The NCAA, Lone Star Conference and Eastern New Mexico University thank you for your cooperation.
DRONES (Unmanned Aerial System)
FAA restricts use of aircraft (including UAS). ENMU policy prohibits the use of UAS over or inside property owned, operated or controlled by ENMU with certain exceptions as outlined in ENMU Policy 80-10. Approval of such exception requires considerable restrictions including approval by the ENMU Department of Public Safety at least 48 hours in advance of the proposed flight times.
Questions related to these restrictions can be answered by the ENMU Department of Public Safety Chief of Police by calling 575-562-2392.
ELECTRONIC TICKET SCANNING
All tickets will be electronically scanned to verify authenticity. Tickets which have been scanned upon entry cannot be reused by another fan. Patrons assume all risks for tickets purchased through sources other than the ENMU Athletic Ticket Office.
ELEVATORS
Elevators are for individuals who have the proper game ticket or proper game credential to reach the press box level.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL PROCEDURES
Medical and safety personnel are assigned to the stadium. For assistance in any medical emergency, please contact an usher, ENMU Police or Gameday EMS. It is extremely important that the exact location of the medical emergency is given so medical personnel know where the emergency is occurring.
EVACUATION
In the event of an emergency, stadium staff will utilize the public address system and the stadium video board to inform patrons of the situation and any instructions. In the unlikely event of an evacuation, please remain calm, assist others and follow the instructions of the game day event staff.
FAMILY/SPECIAL NEEDS RESTROOMS
Family/special needs restrooms are located next to the public restrooms on the westside concourse on both sides. These restrooms are all ADA accessible.
Fan Code of Conduct
ENMU Athletics staff proactively supports a safe, fun experience for all guests:
• Fans are entitled to enjoy the event free from disruptive or inconsiderate behavior
• No abusive or obscene language or gestures
• Alcohol must be consumed legally and responsibly, only in designated locations
• Fans must comply with venue and event staff requests
Prohibited:
• Public intoxication or impairment
• Illegal drug possession or use
• Possession of a firearm or weapon
• Smoking, including e-cigarettes
• Fighting or unruly behavior
• Unauthorized sales or solicitation
• Throwing objects onto the field or entering the playing surface
• Sitting outside your ticketed seat
• Destroying property
• Conduct endangering participants or spectators
• Criminal trespassing
• Signs, banners, placards, or leaflets
Violators are subject to ejection without refund and may have future tickets revoked; violations of law may result in arrest and prosecution. Ticket holders are responsible for their own conduct and that of their guests. Patrons without proper credentials are prohibited from the field level.
FIELD ACCESS
Spectators are prohibited from entering the playing field or the field level before, during or after the playing contest unless they are properly credentialed or accompanied by an authorized staff member. Only ENMU students are invited to the field during pregame to welcome the team onto the field. ENMU students will then be directed back into the stands and are prohibited from staying on or returning to the field. Violators are subject to arrest.
FIRST AID ROOMS
First aid rooms located inside the stadium in the Public Safety Office on the west side concourse.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Patrons may not bring outside food or beverages inside the stadium. Concession stands and food trucks offer a variety of food and beverages.
GAME DATES AND TIMES
ENMU game dates and times are subject to change. In the event a game date or game time is changed, this information will be posted on www.goeasternathletics.com.
GATES OPEN
All fans may enter the stadium 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of inclement weather, (i.e. dangerous winds, tornado, electrical storm, etc.) all guests will be advised that it is in their best interest to seek shelter. Emergency instructions will be delivered via the public address system and the stadium video boards when possible.
LOST AND FOUND PROCEDURES
The lost and found is located in the athletics office. All items that have been turned over to stadium personnel or police will be taken to the office which is located on the west side concourse. Items not picked up by the end of the game will be turned over to the ENMU Athletic Game Management the following Monday. Individuals who have lost items should email justin.bustos@enmu.edu to inquire about lost items.
LOST CHILDREN
Parents/guardians with a lost child should contact an event staff person, ENMU Police or ENMU Safety personnel to notify them their child is missing. Measures will be taken to locate the child. If a child gets separated from his/her party, he/she should notify the nearest police or gameday or event staff member. If the child knows his/her seat location, attempts will be made to return that child to that location. Parents should pre-determine an area both inside and outside the stadium to meet in the event they get separated.
MARIJUANA
Federal law prohibits the use, possession, distribution or cultivation of marijuana for any reason on the ENMU campus. Federal law also prohibits the use and distribution of marijuana for any reason at events authorized or supervised by ENMU. Even with the state law permitting marijuana use, it is important for everyone to know they cannot consume, smoke or possess marijuana on campus even though they might have a card or prescription permitting them to do so.
MOTORIZED VEHICLES
Motorized vehicles (golf carts, gators, etc.) must be street legal to drive on city streets and the ENMU Campus.
NOISEMAKERS
Lone Star Conference and NCAA rules prohibit artificial noisemakers from being brought into the stadium.

PARKING – ADA / MOBILITY
ADA parking is located in close proximity to the east side (visitor side) and west side (home side) entrances.
PARKING – VIP CREDENTIALS
Appropriate VIP parking credentials must be shown to parking staff to enter the VIP parking lot. The VIP parking lot is located beyond the left field fence of Greyhound Baseball Stadium. Vehicles parked in this lot without the appropriate VIP parking credential displayed are subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
PARKING - RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
Recreational vehicles may park in the area designated on the map found within the ENMU Tailgating Guidelines. Tailgating participants with RVs may park in the RV designated area as early as 5:00 PM the night before a football game.
RE-ENTRY
Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium has a no re-entry policy. Once a guest leaves the stadium, they will not be permitted back in. Guests should plan accordingly and bring everything they need to the stadium upon initial entry.
RESTROOMS
Restrooms are located on the east and west side of the stadium. All restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
SECURITY/SAFETY OF THE STADIUM

By tendering your ticket and entering the stadium, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against Eastern New Mexico University. If you elect not to consent to a search, you will not be allowed into the stadium. Please consult the “Stadium Policies” for items not allowed in the stadium.
TAILGATING
Tailgating is an important part of the game day experience at Eastern New Mexico University. We are committed to promoting a safe environment and the best possible game day experience for everyone who visits ENMU Athletics venues, ENMU and Portales.
In order to ensure a safe and family friendly atmosphere tailgating is limited to designated areas on campus. Please view Eastern New Mexico University's tailgating maps to view publicly available and prohibited areas for tailgating along with tailgating guidelines.

THE DOG WALK
Join Head Coach Art Briles and the Greyhounds as they make the traditional pre-game walk across Parking Lot A from the Football Fieldhouse to Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium. The Dog Walk begins approximately 75 minutes prior to kickoff.
THROWING OF ITEMS
The throwing of any items is prohibited and may result in eviction and/or prosecution.
TICKET OFFICE AND GAME-DAY HOURS
ENMU Athletics tickets are available online 24 hours a day through GoEasternAthletics.com/tickets and through the HomeTown Fan App. On football game days, in-person ticket sales and ticket assistance will be available at the stadium ticket windows beginning 90 minutes before kickoff and continuing through halftime. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance and save them to their mobile wallets before arriving at the stadium. Cash and major credit or debit cards will be accepted at designated game-day ticket windows.
WILL CALL AND COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS
ENMU Athletics primarily uses digital ticket delivery. Prepaid and complimentary tickets will normally be sent directly to the recipient by email or text message through HomeTown Ticketing. Guests requiring assistance may visit the stadium will call ticket table beginning 90 minutes before kickoff. A valid photo ID may be required. Tickets will be released only to the person named on the order unless ENMU Athletics receives advance authorization approving another recipient.
TICKET ACCESS AND GAME-DAY PROBLEMS
Fans who cannot locate their tickets may retrieve them through the HomeTown Events Page or HomeTown Fan App using the email address or mobile phone number associated with the order. A HomeTown account or password is not required. Guests needing additional assistance should visit the stadium ticket windows, where staff may verify the order, search the event guest list and resend eligible tickets by email or text message. Tickets that have already been scanned will not be accepted for another admission.
TICKET TRANSFERS
Eligible tickets may be securely transferred to another person through the HomeTown Fan App. Transfers should be completed before the ticket is presented for stadium admission. The recipient must claim and access the transferred ticket using the email address or mobile phone number provided by the sender. Transferring an individual game ticket does not transfer ownership, renewal privileges or priority rights associated with a season-ticket account. ENMU Athletics reserves the right to restrict or revoke ticket-transfer privileges when tickets are used in violation of University or stadium policies.
TOBACCO PRODUCTS
Eastern New Mexico University is designated as a tobacco (including electronic cigarettes, vapor devices, etc.) free campus. We request and appreciate your adherence and compliance with this University Policy.
TRAFFIC CONTROL
ENMU DPS will be responsible for traffic control around the football stadium. ENMU DPS will coordinate with Portales Police Department for traffic control around the City of Portales.
TRASH
Trash receptacles for the disposal of trash and other items are placed throughout the campus, parking lots and stadium. Please help keep the campus and the stadium clean by properly disposing your trash.
UMBRELLAS
Umbrellas are not permitted in Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.
VIDEO CAMERAS
Video cameras are not permitted in the stadium.
WATER
Guests are welcome to carry one unopened bottle of water per person and an empty plastic bottle into Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.
WEAPONS/FIREARMS
No weapons/firearms of any kind are permitted in Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.
WEATHER (LIGHTNING)
When lightning is detected within ten (10) miles of the stadium, the game will be suspended until further notice. The game will resume after thirty (30) minutes of no detected lightning strikes within a ten (10) mile radius of the stadium. There will be a short warm-up period for the teams following this thirty (30) minute suspension.
WEATHER (REFUGE AREAS)
In the event the game is suspended due to severe weather, please follow the instructions of event staff and public safety officials. You will be directed to areas of shelter.
WEATHER WARNINGS
The general public will be informed of severe weather conditions via the public address system and the stadium video board.
