Biography

2015: Appearing in 38 games while starting 32, Sandberg finished the season with a .302 average from the plate, driving in 14 runs and recording 35 hits.  He finished the 2015 campaign with a .457 slugging percentage, recording 13 extra base hits.

Before ENMU: Played at State College of Florida in Bradenton, FL.  As a freshman at SCF, he appeared in 26 games and hit .283. He was selected to play in the 2013 Fall JUCO All-Star game..

High School: Sandberg was a two-sport athlete at Manatee High School, where he lettered in baseball and football for the Hurricanes and helped both teams to the state playoffs. He made All-Area honors in both sports, graduated in the top 4 percent and made the Hall of Fame at Manatee High School. He hit over .330 for his career in high school with nine home runs.
