Browning enters his first year as a graduate assistant coach for Eastern New Mexico University.
He brings experience at both the catcher and first base positions to the Greyhounds after recently finishing up his playing career at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas.Â
Browning was a vital member of a Lobo team that hosted the American Southwest Conference Tournament for the first time in school history in 2018 as he posted a season batting average of .346. He will also bring three years of high school summer coaching experience where he helped his teams improve in the basics of the game while preparing them for the collegiate level and experience as an instructor for the Lubbock Baseball Academy.Â

He earned his Bachelor’s in Arts with a major in history and a minor in education in 2019. Browning will pursue a master’s degree in Sports Administration.

Browning is a native of Lubbock, Texas and is the son of Rex and Nancy Browning. He has two brothers Erik and Shane Browning.
