Ryan Anderson will make the move from player to graduate assistant coach for the 2021 season.
Anderson joins the coaching staff after serving as team captain for the 2019 season to cap off a four-year playing career at Eastern New Mexico. The Del Norte High School product finished his playing career with a .268 batting average while serving as an integral part of the Hound's pitching staff success as a catcher.
He previously gained coaching experience beginning in the summer of 2016 as he served as a coach, trainer and supervisor for Gas Athletics in Albuquerque, N.M. during his summers. Anderson also worked as an Athletic Training Aid from 2019-20 for the Eastern New Mexico athletic department.
He will begin his studies in pursuit of a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Eastern New Mexico in the fall of 2020.
