Biography

2015: Emerging as one of the team’s primary relievers, Basso finished with a 5.62 ERA and a 1-2 win/loss record, in addition to one save.  Pitching 24 innings, he appeared in 13 games with one start.  Basso recorded 26 strikeouts and held opponents to a .297 batting average.

High School: Graduated from Centennial High School in Peoria, Ariz.  Playing under coach Mike Osterle, he earnd three varsity baseball Cy Young Awards and was named to the Honor Roll.
