Biography

Prior to ENMU: Samiento attended Highland Community College in Highland, Kan.  At Highland, Sarmiento pitched 51 innings with a 3-2 record.  He threw 47 strikeouts in 10 appearances with a 6.35 ERA.

High School: Attended Heritage High School in Saginaw, Mich., where he played baseball under Bob Andy and received Honorable Mention.
