Biography

2014: Second Team ABCA/Rawlings South Central Region Gold Glove selection... Pitched in 13 games, all starts, and made an appearance as a pinch runner... Went 4-3 with a 3.75 ERA, lowest amoung the starters, 39 strikeouts and 31 walks in 62.1 innings... Earned a victory in first start of the season as he went four innings, striking out two, in a seven-inning contest against Adams State (2/8)... Won second start against New Mexico Highlands (2/15) with a five-strikeout performance in five frames... Picked up third straight victory as he tossed five innings at the University of the Southwest (2/23)... Took the loss while giving up four runs on six hits and struck out four at Tarleton State (2/28)... Went six innings, struck out five and took the loss against West Texas A&M (3/7)... Had five strikeouts and four walks in six innings in a no decision against Texas A&M-Kingsville (3/14)... Lasted two frames as he surrendered two runs, both unearned, in two innings at Cameron (3/22) as he took the loss... Struck out a season-high six in six innings at Angelo State (3/29)... Earned fourth win of the year, throwing 5.1 innings with three strikeouts and two walks against Tarleton State (4/5)... Went four innings and struck out three at West Texas A&M (4/12)... Before ENMU: Played two years at Palomar Community College in San Marcos, Calif. for head coach Buck Taylor... Made 10 appearances with one start in 2013... Finished the season with 2-0 record, 5.19 ERA, threw 8.2 innings, struck out seven and walked 10... Had eight apperances in 2012, all out of the bullpen... Went 2-0 with 0.67 ERA in 13.1 innings with 16 strikeouts and eight walks.

High School: Lettered at El Camino High School in Oceanside, Calif. for head coach Joe Gonzalez... Was a pitcher, first baseman and outfielder... Named team's Pitcher of the Year his senior year... Member of the surf team and earned squad's MVP honors.

Academics: Majoring in business with a minor in marketing.
