Biography

2015: In two at bats, Yantes reached base once during the season, earning an on base percentage of .500.  He also recorded one run scored.

2014: Played in four games, all as a pinch hitter, where he hit .250 with a double, RBI and a run scored. Recorded his first career hit and RBI against New Mexico Highlands (2/15) and scored first run of his career at the University of the Southwest (2/23).
 
2013: Redshirted while serving as the team's bullpen catcher.

High School: Lettered at 29 Palms High School under head coaches Mike Fontana and T.J. Stanford where he was named first team all-league his senior year, second team all-league selection as a junior and picked as team's Offensive MVP his senior and freshman years.  Yantes was on the Principal's Honor Roll all four years and a National Honors Society Member.

Academics: Majoring in criminal justice.
