Andrew McCraw comes back to Eastern New Mexico University as an assistant coach for the football program. With the Greyhounds, he will oversee the offensive line.
McCraw reunites with head coach Kelley Lee after two seasons as head coach at Clovis High School and a season at Belen High School.
He served as a graduate assistant for ENMU during the 2012 season and was promoted to an assistant position from 2013-14. McCraw coached in Lovington in 2015 and was named the head coach at Socorro High School in 2016. He came back to Eastern from 2017-21 before accepting the head coaching job at Belen High School in 2021.
Prior to his time in Portales, McCraw was an assistant at Valencia High School from 2009-12 and at Lovington in 2008.
The Lovington, N.M. native holds an associate’s degree from New Mexico Military Institute. He earned his bachelor’s in special education and master’s in physical education from ENMU.
