Former Greyhound, Ben Langford is the newest quarterbacks and wide receivers coach at Eastern New Mexico.
Langford spent the last four years as a soldier for the United States Army where he was stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. During his time in the armed forces, he served in Poland as an Airdrop specialist.
Prior to his that, he served as a graduate assistant for two years (2016-2017) and as a full-time coach (2018-2019) for a season with the ENMU football program. With the Hounds, he oversaw the linebackers, running backs, and wide receivers.
He helped the staff execute game plans and organize various clinics and camps. On top of his coaching duties, he pursued a masters degree in sports management.
In his four seasons with ENMU as a player, he was a two-time second team All-LSC honoree and was named a preseason All-American in 2014.
He earned a bachelor's degree in health and physical education from Eastern New Mexico in 2015 and finished the master's program in 2018.
