Roderick Gaines is in his first season with Eastern New Mexico University.
Gaines comes to Portales after earning his master's in sport management from the University of West Georgia. While earning his degree, he served as the defensive back coach for Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek, Georgia.
He also holds experience at Pebblebrook High School in Mableton, Georgia and Tift County High School in Tifton, Georgia.
Gaines was a student-athlete at Iowa Wesleyan University.
