Torrence Brown begins his first season as  Defensive Line Coach on the Greyhound Football staff for the 2021 season.

Brown joins Eastern from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where he was a defensive assistant coach. In his role, Brown would coach the defensive line, break down and upload daily practice film, and facilitate team recruiting efforts.

Before Wisconsin-Easu Claire, Brown worked as an undergraduate assistant at Penn. State. With the Nittany Lions, Brown helped chart defensive plays, give feedback on plays to defensive coordinator, and work with athletes 1-on-1 with feedback.

Brown is a former player of the Nittany Lions, playing in 30 games at defensive end with 52 total tackles, two sacks, and scoring one touchdown. Brown would use his final year of eligibility at Southern Mississippi. At Southern Miss, Brown made eight appearances at defensive end compiling nine total tackles and one pass deflection.

Brown earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management from Penn. State.
