As a Sophomore in 2010

Played in seven games with two starts and helped propel the Greyhound offense into the statistical rankings for the Lone Star Conference and NCAA Division II.
As a Redshirt Freshman in 2009

Played against University of the Incarnate Word, helping the Greyhounds post a 35-30 win in their season finale.
Before ENMU

Played four years at Brownwood High School under Coach Steve Freeman … Awarded 2nd team all district and academic all district for his play with the Lions … Justin also competed in track and field, where he was a regional qualifier in the shotput event, and power lifting

Majoring in criminal justice with a minor in sociology at Eastern New Mexico University
