Played for head coach Ron Barney at Mesa Verde High School in Citrus Heights, California … Earned conference Offensive Player of the Year during the 2011 season … Rushed for a school record 297 yards in one game … Also played on the basketball team, earning All-Conference honors as a sophomore and junior.
