During his career at Artesia High School, he was named First Team All State LB (2016), First Team All District LB (2016), First Team All District LB (2017), 5A/6A All-South All-Star LB (2017), 5A First Team All State LB (2017), Defensive player of the year award (2016), Meachump tackle award (2016), Defensive player of the year award (2017), Meachump tackle award (2017)... For baseball he gained First Team All District for third basemen, Most Improved, Top Arm ERA, First Team All District right-fielder... He won the District Championship for (2015), (2016), (2017), State championships (2015), (2017), 30 state titles, participated in the North-South All Star game, was in three state football tournaments and three state baseball tournaments. 

PERSONAL 
Son of Miguel and Juanita Martinez... Interested in getting a degree in Physical Therapy... His hobbies include fishing and hiking.
