AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE
Made four appearances during the 2018 season ... Rushed for 39 yards on seven carries ... Ran for a season-high 37 yards on six carries in a 55-9 victory over Western New Mexico in the inaugural Chile Bowl game.

Did not see action during the 2017 campaign.

At Durango High School Trujillo was First Team All-Conference Pikes Peak League during his junior and senior seasons.... Senior season offensive MVP... He also played basketball, which he was named First Team All Conference South Western League...
