Did not see any game action during the 2019 season. 

AS A JUNIOR
Redshirted for the 2018 season. 

AS A SOPHOMORE AND FRESHMAN (SCOTSDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE)
Played for two seasons for head coach Doug Madoski at Scottsdale Community College ... recorded 23 tackles and four tackles for loss during his sophomore season ... compiled 32 tackles and three tackles for loss in his freshman year.

HIGH SCHOOL 
At Mountain Pointe Owens was an all region linebacker for the state of Arizona his junior and senior year...Finished top five for most tackles in school history...Named three year captain on varsity... As a sophomore, won The Arizona football State Championship in 2014.  

PERSONAL 
Son of Vavrix and Shelia... he wants to study Bio Pre-med/ Nursing... Owens is a believer in god, loves writing poetry and being with family... After graduation he plans to become a neonatal nurse.
