2015 season

Emerging as one of the Greyhounds go to relievers, Shank appeared in 13 games and finished the season with a 2-2 win/loss record as well as one save. His 3.69 ERA was the best of any pitcher who appeared in more than 20 innings for Eastern.
His 31.2 innings pitched was the highest on the team outside of the starting rotation. Recording 21 strikeouts and holding the opponents to a .241 average, Shank cemented his role as a large part of the Greyhound’s success.

Before ENMU

Shank attended Hiroshi Miyamura High School in Gallup, New Mexico, where he achieved First Team All-District in baseball under coach Brian Silva. He also played football and basketball where he earned First Team All-District honors in both sports, and he earned Student of the Month along with making the Honor Roll.
He also attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where he played football at the quarterback position.
