Biography
AS A JUNIOR
Competed in six events. Ran a season-best 8k time of 26:35.03 and finished 13th at the New Mexico Junior College Invite. At the Lone Star Conference Championships, came away with 48th place, crossing the finish line in 29:59.95. At the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championships, Juarez finished with a time of 34:36.10 in the 10k event.
AS A SOPHOMORE
Ran in six meets. Turned in a season-best 8k time of 27:07.10 for 30th place at the Lone Star Conference Championships. Came away with a ninth place finish at the West Tesxas A&M Buffalo Stampede, crossing the finish line in 27:38.20. At the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championships, Juarez turned in a 35:24.00 at the 10k meet.
AS A FRESHMAN
Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Lovington High School...competed on the cross country team and the track and field team in the 1600-meter and 3200-meter events...was named team captain his senior year for the cross country and track and field teams.
PERSONAL
A member of Family Career and Community Leaders of America...majoring in Biology.
