Biography
2014 (Jr.): Finished 5th at the Lone Star Conference meet, and 19th at the NCAA South Central Regional Meet which is the highest place ever recorded for ENMU at that meet. Indoor-Was all-conference at the Indoor Championship meet. Finishing third in the 5,000 with a 17:52.25, second in the mile with a time of 5:05.27, and second in the 3,000 with a time of 10:14.74. She is the only female runner at Eastern to have ever received all-conference honors during the indoor season.
2013 (So.): Was the Lone Star Conference Runner of the Week in early October ... Set a team-record in the 5k, with a time of 18:37.05 at South Plains ... Took 14th at the Lone Star Conference Championships, with a time of 23:31.80 in the 5k.
High School: Was a standout runner for Belen High School. Saiz was the New Mexico 4A state champion in the 800 meter run her senior year, running a 2:16. She also finished fifth in the mile at the State Meet with a time of 5:16.
