AS A JUNIOR
Ran in all six events during the 2018 season ... Finished with a 23:32.30 at the LSC Championships to come away with sixth place and earn All-LSC and LSC Newcomer of the Year honors ... Turned in a career-best 6k time and finish at the LSC Preview with a 23:27.80 for third place ... Came away with a 62nd place time of 23:51.1 at the NCAA Division II South Central Region Championships ... Recorded a career-best 5k time of 19:09.5 at the Arkansas Chile Pepper Festival.

AS A SOPHOMORE (EL PASO COMMUNITY COLLEGE)
Competed in four events ... Ran a season-best 5k time of 20:11.60 and finished 16th at the NJCAA Region V Cross Country Championships. Crossed the finish line in 21:47.00 at the NJCAA Cross Country National Championships.

AS A FRESHMAN (CENTRAL ARIZONA COLLEGE)
Competed in four events ... At the NJCAA Cross Country National Championships, Cheptoo ran a career-best 5k time of 19:13.50 and finished in 34th of 316 runners in the meet ... Ran a 6k time of 24:59.20 at the UCSD Triton Classic.
