AS A SOPHOMORE
Ran in three events during the 2018 season ... Set a career-best 8k time of 30:35.2 at the Arkansas Chile Pepper Festival ... Ran a 31:15.50 at the Lone Star Conference Championships.

AS A FRESHMAN
Did not compete in cross country, but did compete on the ENMU Men's Track and Field Team ... During the outdoor season, Gomez competed in the 1500-meter run.

HIGH SCHOOL
Gomez attended Lovington High School in Lovington, New Mexico, where he competed as a Wildcat under Coach Fred Castellanos.
