Andrew Livingston

Andrew Livingston begins his first season as the assistant soccer coach for the Eastern New Mexico men’s soccer team in 2019.

Livingston joins ENMU after he spent last season as an assistant coach for the men’s soccer program at Evansville University. Under Livingston’s leadership, junior defender Simon Waever led the Missouri Valley Conference in assists with 8 and was recognized as a First Team All-MVC selection. Livingston also coached three other players to All-MVC honors including Freshman of the Year Mathias Nors, Second Team selection Jesse Stafford-Lacey, and Honorable Mention Ben Weber.

Prior to Evansville University, Livingston spent the 2015 season as a volunteer assistant for the Northwestern University women’s soccer team. Livingston helped the Wildcats to a 14-6-2 overall record and an NCAA Tournament berth. Seven members of the 2015 Northwestern women’s squad have gone on to professional playing careers including; Marisa Viggiano, Kayla Sharples, Hannah Davison, Addison Steiner, Lauren Clem, Brenna Lovera & Nikia Smith. 

Other coaching stints for Livingston include director of coaching for the Bloomingdale Lightning Travel Soccer Club (2015-2016), assistant regional director for UK Soccer International (2015-16), coach for Nordjyllands Idraetshojskole in Denmark (2014) and assistant coach at St. Thomas University (2013).

A Hamilton, Scotland native, Livingston began his collegiate playing career at Brescia University where he was named team captain and helped his team to a Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship in 2010. As a freshman, Livingston led the conference with nine assists and earned All-KIAC honors. 

Livingston transferred to St. Thomas University in 2011. During his time at STU he led his squad to back-to-back Sun Conference Regular Season Championships in 2011 and 2012. Livingston was a two-time All-Conference selection in athletics and a two-time Academic All-Conference selection. He was also awarded the Saint Thomas University Silver Bobcat Award which is given to the student-athlete who best embodies the NAIA five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership. 

Livingston graduated from St. Thomas with honors in 2013 with a bachelor’s in criminal justice. Upon graduation, Livingston went on to play for Miami United (2013) in the Semi-Profesional National Premier Soccer League where he was named team captain before moving on to play for Jammerbugt FC (2014), a professional club in the Danish Second Division.

Livingston is recently married to his wife Nicole, who works as a nurse at Roosevelt General Hospital. They live with their two dogs Odi and Cali.
