Luis Lozoya made his Greyhound debut in a 2-2 tie against Lubbock Christian, and played in nine games. He had one shot in the game against LCU.

Lozoya was a redshirt in his first year at Eastern.

Prior to enrollment at ENMU, Lozoya lettered at Monte Del Sol Charter School for head coach Mazatl Galindo. He was selected as district's Player of the Year and earned first team all-state and all-district selections.
