Omar Zamarripa played in 10 games as a freshman with three starts. He finished the season with three shots on goal, which included two in a victory over Southern Nazarene.

Before ENMU
Prior to enrollment at ENMU, Zamarripa attended Lufkin High School in, and played under coach Russell Shaw.  He was named the State Championship Most Valuable Player, District MVP and a National Soccer Coaches' Association of America all-region team selection.
