As a Junior in 2009 ... Garnered Second Team ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District 6 honors along with making the Lone Star Conference All-Academic Team ... Made Honorable Mention All-LSC and was chosen as the ENMUSports.com Athlete of the Week on March 2 ... Started all 47 games and batted .381 with five homers, four triples, 12 doubles and 37 runs batted in ... Was the toughest batter in the NCAA Division II to strike out, finishing with 160 at bats and just two strike outs ... Made eight appearances as a releif pitcher, striking out seven batters ... Had 17 multiple-hit games, including a four-for-five outing at Oklahoma Panhandle (4/21/2009) and a three-for-four performance against Texas A&M-Kingsville (3/6/2009), with two runs scored and a double ...
