Lora Ferguson begins her 11th year working inside the athletic training office at Eastern New Mexico.
Ferguson has served as the Senior Woman Administrator at Eastern for seven years and was named to her current position of Associate Athletic Director of Sports Medicine prior to the 2018-19 season.
Her work within her assigned duties as well as her relationship with student athletes and influence around campus earned her the 2018 Spirit of Eastern Award.
Originally from Follett, Texas, Ferguson graduated with her undergrad degree from Abilene Christian in 2004 and then her Master of Education degree from Steven F. Austin in 2006. She earned her ATC in 2005 and has been a licensed athletic trainer in the state of New Mexico since 2008.
Prior to her time at ENMU she served as an assistant athletic trainer at McPherson College in Kansas for two seasons before beginning her stint at Eastern.
