AS A SOPHOMORE
Played in 45 games during the season, starting all of them ... Finished the season with a .288 batting average, scattering 30 hits, bringing in 17 RBIs, scoring 16 runs, and a team lead 14 walks ... Ended the season with seven multi-hit games ... Posted two hits and two RBIs against Simon Fraser (2/18) ... picked two hits, including a two-RBI single, against St. Mary's (3/25) ... Hit a single and double in a win over New Mexico Highlands (4/19) ... Grabbed first career homerun against Western New Mexico (4/22, G1) ... Went 3-3 with two RBIs and scored two runs in a comeback win over Western New Mexico (4/22, G2) ... Defensively, sported a .973 fielding percentage and held a team lead 82 assists at shortstop.
AS A FRESHMAN
Appeared and started in 30 games... Finished the season with a .219 batting average after recording 16 hits in 73 at-bats... Tallied seven RBI, six runs, and one double... Had one multi-hit game... Went 3-for-5 at the plate with three RBI in a win over Midwestern State on April 18.
AS A FRESHMAN (COVID-19)
Started in 19 games, season cut short due to COVID-19 …. Came in second on the team with 58 at-bats….Recorded a season high two doubles against UT Permian Basin….Recorded four at-bats in six contests….Came in third for the most runs scored at 13….Finished the season with a batting average of .293.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played for head coach Pete Palomarez at Sunnyside High School in Tuscon, Ariz.…. Named 2018 first team all-region …. 2017 second team all-region … 2016 honorable mention all-conference… Ended senior year with a .328 batting average.
