Biography

Before ENMU
Karina Moreno played second base, pitcher and outfield for the Lyndon B. Johnson High School Wolves under coaches Frank Quiroz and Alfredo Calderon in Laredo, Texas. The team won second team in all-conference.

She also played second base and outfield for Laredo Community College under coaches Kristi Lansford and Casey Graham. The team won second team in all-conference.

While in high school, Moreno made the Dean's List and was named the All-America Scholar Athlete. She was a member of The National Fastpitch Coaches Association and Who's Who Among Students in America Universities and Colleges.

Academics
Moreno holds an associate's degree.

She is majoring in health and physical education.
