As a Freshman in 2009 ... Played in 26 games with 21 starts, posting a .291 batting average with two home runs, four doubles and nine runs batted in ... Turned in a big game against Texas-Permian Basin (2/19/2009), batting three-for-three with three runs scored, five RBIs a double and two home runs ... Hit three-for-four at Western New Mexico with three runs scored and a double. Finshed the season with five multiple-hit games ...... Before ENMU ... Transferred to Eastern from University of New Mexico in Albuquerque  ... Played   catcher for head coach Kevin Worth at Piedra Vista High School, garnering all-district and all-state laurels ... Earned the Golden Glove Award in 2005, 2006 and 2007 ... Also played volleyball for the Panthers, where as the libero, she made the all-district team with the top dig total and service percentage on her squad.

Personal ... Will be majoring in elementary education with a minor in family and consumer sciences at Eastern ... Daughter of Sandra Davis and Jimmy Varnell.
