Biography
As a Sophomore in 2016
- Appeared in 16 games for the Hounds at midfield with seven starts
- Tallied a goal against perennial LSC powerhouse Angelo State
- Helped the midfield limit the opposition to just 1.78 goals per game
As a Freshman in the 2015 Season
In Hampton's first season, she tallied her first goal in a game at Lone Star Conference-rival West Texas A&M. She also had an assist in a win over University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Hampton appeared in 17 games at the midfield position, with eight starts.
Before ENMU
Prior to enrollment at Eastern, Hampton attended nearby Tascosa High School, where she played for head coach Austin Price. As a senior, she was chosen as the team's Most Valuable Player, Offensive MVP, and selected first team all-district. After her freshman campaign, Hamton was named Newcomer of the Year and earned second team all-district honors.
Academic
Hampton is majoring in biology with an emphasis in pre-medical sciences and a minor in Spanish at ENMU.
