Before ENMU … Played four years at Hope Christian School under Coach Dan Greinel … Part of the Huskies squad that qualified for the state semi finals three consecutive years, from 2007-2009 … Named team captain during her senior year, and scored the most goals on her team her junior year … Awarded all state and all district honors in 2007, 2008, and 2009 … A multi-sport athlete, Cara also lettered in track, where she was a state qualifier in the 200 meter event … Awarded all district honors for the 200 meter and high jump events … Played four years for Fuego (club team) under Coach Greg Rickets and one year for Rush ’90 (club team) under Coach Jorge Vela … Personal … Daughter of Jim and Jody Howell.
