As a Sophomore in 2010

Played and started in 14 games... Connected with one goal in a 7-1 win against University of the Southwest... Had a season high three shots on goal against Fort Lewis (9/12/10).
As a Freshman in 2009

Played in four games with three starts ...  Turned in a critical performance in a 2-0 win against Adams State, scoring a goal and dishing out an assist on the game-winning goal ... Named to the ENMU Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the Fall and Spring semesters.
 
Before ENMU

Qualified for New Mexico state 5A tournament each one of her five seasons at Alamogordo High School under Coach Robert Carter … Awarded all district honors twice … Named her team’s midfielder of the year twice, and defender of the year once … Entered 27 career assists at Alamogordo HS … Desiree lettered in both basketball and track … Member of the National Honor Society, Golden Scholars and the Mayor’s Youth Advisory committee … A multi-sport athlete, Desiree also lettered in basketball for four years … Played on the club team Alamogordo United under Coaches Mike Edwards and for the Crusaders under Coach Rex Ellison … With her club team, was a finalist in the New Mexico State Cup.
