Biography
As a Sophomore in the 2015 Season
As a sophomore, Karissa Stinson played in 12 games for the Greyhounds with 10 starts in net. She finished the season with a 1.55 goals against average and a team-best .768 save percentage. Stinson posted back-to-back wins over Texas A&M-International and New Mexico Highlands early in her first season, and followed with another victory over Texas A&M-International.
Before ENMU
Prior to enrollment at Eastern, Stinson played for head coach Uwe Balizis at Rio Rancho High School. A highly decorated player at RRHS, she was a two-time all-state selection and two-time first-team all-district choice. Stinson also was a standout on the basketball and track & field teams.
Academic
Stinson is majoring in criminal justice at ENMU with a minor in psychology.
