Before ENMU
Amari Dennis transferred to ENMU from NCAA Division I Texas Southern, where she appeared in 30 games during the 2015-16 season. She averaged 4.1 points for the Lady Tigers and poured in a career-high 13 against Oklahoma State. Prior to TSU, Dennis played at Butler Community College for Head Coach Mike Helmer. She showed versatility at BCC and played small forward, power forward and center. Her efforts led Texas Southern to a Southwestern Athletic Conference title. At Broken Arrow High School, Dennis saw time at all five positions for Head Coach Michael Hughes.. She guided the Tigers to an undefeated season and state title in 2014 and made Vype Top-100. Dennis made the Dean's Honor Roll at BAHS and Butler CC.
Academic
Dennis is majoring in biology with an emphasis in pre-medical sciences at ENMU.
