Before ENMU: Played four years at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa under head coach Mike Laird... Graduated with bachelor's degree in Biology (Pre-Professional)... Redshirted in 2013... In 2012, was named first team all-conference... Compiled a 7-4 record with 2 saves.. Had an ERA of 2.71 over 86.0 innings in 16 games, starting 14 of them... Threw seven complete games and three shutouts... Had a team-high 89 strikeouts while allowing oppoents to hit just .256... Was 1-2 in seven games, four start, with a 7.36 ERA in 25.2 innings and struckout 30 in 2011... Appeared in 14 games and started six games in 2010... Finished 4-2 with a 4.72 ERA in 40.0 innings as he struckout 31 and walked 19.

High School: Lettered in baseball at Castle Park High School for coach Jouquin Sosa in Chula Vista, Calif... Was named team's MVP and Pitcher of the Year.

Personal: Getting master's degree in biology with concentration in forensic science.
