AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE
Appeared in 18 out of 26 matches and played 62 sets …. Led the team in digs averaging 4.21 per set, finished the season with 261 ….. Set a career high with 27 digs in two separate matches against Texas A&M International and Texas A&M-Kingsville… Also posted a career high six assists in the Hound’s 3-1 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville.

HIGH SCHOOL
Competed for head coach Robbie Robinson at Eunice High School ... Earned Second Team All-State accolades and was the MVP of the district in 2016 ... Helped lead the Bobcats to a runner-up at the NMAA State Volleyball Tournament in 2015 ... Also competed in basketball and track & field ... Back-to-back state champion in the 300 meter hurdles in 2015 and 2016 while helping the Bobcats win the team state championship both years ... Assisted the basketball team to a state runner-up in 2016 while also earning a spot on the state All-Star squad ... Named to the Dean's List every year since her freshman year.

Daughter of Mark and Kerri Vinson ... Hobbies include playing volleyball, reading, writing, drawing, painting, shopping for shoes, watching Friends, eating spaghetti and traveling ... Plans to get her Master's degree in Elementary Education, become a teacher and coach as well as write a book ... Majoring in English.
