Jacob Dotseth

Jacob Dotseth joins Eastern New Mexico University as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the 2021-22 year.

Dotseth comes to ENMU after one year of service at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. While at West Texas A&M, Dotseth served as the primary athletic trainer for women’s volleyball, and assisted with the football and track & field programs.

Prior to his time at West Texas, Dotseth served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg, Pa. During his graduate assistantship, Dotseth provided coverage for 21 varsity sports at East Stroudsburg High School from August 2019-May 2020.

In addition, Dotseth gained clinical athletic training experience at St. Luke’s Hospital Network and Winona State University.

Dotseth earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at Winona State and completed a Master of Science degree in Advanced Clinical Practice at East Stroudsburg.

Dotseth is certified as an athletic trainer (ATC) and in CPR/First Aid (from American Heart Association). He is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
