Career
Stevie-Rae Baca redshirted has appeared in five matches for ENMU and registered a kill against Southern Nazarene in 2013.
As a Redshirt-Junior in the 2015 Season
Stevie-Rae Baca appeared in eight sets over six matches and set a career high in digs against Texas Woman’s (Sept. 18) with two. Her eight sets played doubled her previous season high in 2014 and foreshadow more to come for the redshirt junior heading into her fifth and final year at ENMU.
As a Redshirt-Sophomore in the 2014 Season
As a redshirt-sophomore, Baca appeared in four matches for Eastern. Her top match came against University of the Southwest, with a service ace and dig.
As a Sophomore in the 2013 Season
Baca redshirted in the 2013 season.
As a Freshman in the 2013 Season
In her first season at ENMU, Baca made her debut against Lone Star Conference-rival, Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Before ENMU
Prior to enrollment at ENMU, Baca lettered at Aztec High School under coach Anna Strauss. She was a two-time first team all-district selection and twice an all-state honorable mention choice. Baca participated in the New Mexico North/South All-Star Game and earned All-Academic Team honors. She broke the school record for digs in a game consecutive seasons and led the state in digs as a senior. A versatile athlete, Bava also lettered in basketball and track.
Academic
Baca is majoring in communicative disorders with a minor in psychology.
